ABOUT US:

Thanks for stopping by, I (Steve Bramhal) have been fishing for over 20 years and have a passion for being on the water and putting fish in the boat. I grew up on the Puget Sound and surrounding waters mastering my sport fishing skills. It was only natural for me to run my own boat and have expanded my fishing area to over 300 miles of rivers.

Rick Mainini is the other guide:

Rick spends his summers and winters chasing steelhead and salmon on the Chehalis, Cowlitz and Wynoochie river systems. Rick runs a 16’ Alumaweld sled that will get you into the fish. Rick specializes in groups of 2-3 people

When I opened my business I had one goal and that was to provide the highest quality guided fishing trips possible.  I bring experience and knowledge that puts fish in the boat even in the toughest conditions. A successful business is made from successful trips that equal repeat customers and that is the foundation of Wind River Guides.

I am one of the few guides that will cancel trips if the fish are not in, or I need to move. This rarely happens but we are dealing with mother nature and everything from extreme weather,  late returns, to bad water conditions can all ruin even the best intended day on the water.

Our boat can comfortably fish up to six people.  Booking the boat for 3 or more people ensures a private trip. Trips cancelled by customers 2 weeks or more prior to the scheduled trip will receive a 100% refund. All deposits are 100% refundable if Wind River Guides cancels because of weather, river conditions or unforeseen problems on our part.
